Italia!
Mama Mia!
And if I just add the little words of Pizza and Pasta, everybody can guess that I am writing about Italian Cuisine. In particular, I got the chance to go out with my mom and my grandma. We were at the cinema and after the movie we saw by chance a nice little restaurant at the subway station “Südstern”, called Lume di Candela! It provided Italian food, although afterwards I read about some dubious claims that nobody there is Italian.
But actually I don’t care. I was hungry and my mom and grandma, too. The menu had a diverse variety and the ambiance was also of warmness, despite the huge screen at one of the walls. But additionally we sat at a cozy corner where nobody could disturb us from eating and talking.
The food we ate was delicious and the prices please to students. Additionally I have to state that my criteria are not such of a classy restaurant with a high reputation in Berlin. I am a student, therefore I care about the prizes and the taste of my food.
To conclude I can warmly recommend this nice little restaurant in Kreuzberg.
Last but not least, I also met some guys out of our IBMAN course of the 4th semester. First they glanced a little fretfully at our table, because that was actually their regular corner.
Bon Appetit,
Katleen
